Section 51. Abuse of halal sign
Any person who displays, on or in respect of any food, drink or consumable material which is not halal, any sign which indicates that such food, drink or consumable material is halal commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to whipping not exceeding six strokes or to any combination thereof.
