PART VII - OFFENCES
Section 111. Illicit intercourse between divorced persons.
(1) Any husband who having lawfully divorced his wife, resumes cohabitation with her without having pronounced a lawful rujuk in accordance with Hukum Syarak shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding five hundred ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding four months or both.
(2) Any wife who knowing that she has been lawfully divorced abets in the commission of an offence under subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding five hundred ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding four months or both.
(3) Any husband who having lawfully divorced his wife, resumes cohabitation with her without informing her that she has been divorced shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months.
