(Section 16)

PROHIBITED MARRIAGES

No male person may because of nasab marry the following persons-

1. Mother.

2. Grandmother and above whether on the father's side or on the mother's side.

3. Daughter and granddaughter and below.

4. Sister of the same father and mother, sister of the same father and sister of the same mother.

5. Daughters of brother or sister and below.

6. Paternal aunty (Ammah) and above.

7. Maternal aunty (Khalah) and above.
