ENACTMENT NO. 6 OF 2002 ISLAMIC FAMILY LAW ENACTMENT 2002
PART X - GENERAL
Section 136. Repeal and savings
(1) The Islamic Family Law Enactment 1983 [En. No. 1/83]is hereby repealed.
Provided that all proceedings instituted under the Enactment which is hereby repealed shall be continued as if this Enactment had not been passed.
(2) The repeal shall not affect the previous operation of the repealed Enactment or anything duly done or suffered thereunder or any right, privilege, obligation or liability acquired, accrued or incurred thereunder.
