CHAPTER 8 - EXAMINATION OF WITNESSES

Section 93. Open examination

(1) A Hakim Syariah may conduct a second examination of the witness in open Court, although the witness had been examined and found to be adil or that his earlier evidence is admissible.

(2) An open examination may be conducted as follows-

(a) the witness is brought before a Hakim Syariah in the presence of the parties to the suit and is examined by the examiner; or

(b) the witness and the parties to the suit are sent to the examiner's place and thereat examined.
