PART VII - OFFENCES
Section 103. Disobedience of wife.
Any wife who wilfully disobeys any order lawfully given by her husband in accordance with Hukum Syarak and continues to do so after being advised by the Qadhi shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding two hundred and fifty ringgit or in the case of a second or subsequent offence, to a fine not exceeding five hundred ringgit:
Provided that it shall be a sufficient defence to any prosecution under this section that the husband has been guilty on more than one occasion of abusing or ill treating the accused.
