PART V - MAINTENANCE OF WIFE, CHILDREN AND OTHERS
Section 66. Duration of orders for maintenance of children.
Except-
(a) when an order for maintenance is expressed to be for any shorter period; or
(b) where any such order has been rescinded; or
(c) if such order is made for-
(i) a female child who is unmarried or who by reason of mental or physical disability, is unable to maintain herself; or
(ii) a male child, who by reason of mental or physici}l disability is unable to maintain himself;
the order shall cease when the child is baligh and independent:
Provided always that the Court may on the application of the child or any other person, extend the order of maintenance for such period as it thinks reasonable to enable the child to follow higher education or training.
