Section 48. Obstruction an offence.

Any person who in any way obstruct, hinders, prevents, delays or interfere with any officer or servant of the Majlis in the lawful exercise of any of his power or the performance of his functions and duties under this Enactment or any regulations made thereunder or who fails to afford such assistance as is reasonably required by any officer or servant of the Majlis, commits an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to both.
