Section 47. Taking away a woman
Any person who takes away any woman or persuades to take her away from the custody of her parents or guardian commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to whipping not exceeding six strokes or to any combination thereof, and the Court may make such order as it deems appropriate in respect of the woman.
