PART VIII - CONVERSION TO ISLAM

Section 85. Certificate of Conversion

(1) The Registrar of Conversion shall furnish every person whose conversion has been registered a Certificate of Conversion in the prescribed form.

(2) The Certificate of Conversion of a child who converts to Islam shall be given to the parent who converts to Islam.

(3) A Certificate of Conversion shall be deemed to be conclusive proof of the facts stated therein.

(4) The Registrar of Conversion shall furnish a copy of the Certificate of Conversion to the National Registration Department for the purpose of registering the change of name.
