Section 67. Duration of maintenance order of a child.

Except where an order of maintenance-

(a) states a shorter duration; or

(b) is rescinded or

(i) of a daughter who is not married or who by reason of mental or physical disability is unable to maintain herself; or

(ii) of a son who by reason of mental or physical disability is unable to maintain himself;

the order shall abate when the child reaches the age of puberty: provided the Court may on the application of the child or other person extend the validity of the order to cover any additional period it thinks reasonable to enable the child to pursue higher education or further training.
