Section 30. Minor defendant attaining majority.
If a minor defendant attains majority during the pendency of any proceedings, he or his lawful guardian may file an affidavit in proof of such majority and thereupon the title of the action shall be amended and his lawful guardian shall be discharged, subject to any issue of costs occasioned by his negligence or misconduct.
