PART III - MARRIAGE AND REGISTRATION
Section 23. Copies of entries.
(1) The Registrar registering the marriage shall, as soon as practicable after the end of each month; deliver to the Chief Registrar, a true copy certified under his hand of every entry made in the Register of Marriages.
(2) All such copies shall kept by the Chief Registrar in such manner as may be prescribed and shall constitute the register of marriages of the Chief Registrar.
