PART II - GENERAL PROVISIONS AS TO CRIMINAL COURT CHAPTER 4 - OF PROCESSES TO COMPEL APPEARANCE Other Rules Regarding Summonses to Appear and Warrants of Arrest
Section 38. Summonses to appear and warrant of arrest may be executed in any part of Malaysia.
(1) All summonses to appear and warrant of arrest issued by a Syariah Court may be served or executed, as the case may be, in any part of Malaysia:
Provided that no such summons or warrant shall be served or executed outside the local limits of the jurisdiction of the Court issuing the same unless the same shall be indorsed by such Court for service or execution, as the case may be, out of the jurisdiction.
(2) No such summons or warrant shall be indorsed by a Court issuing the same for service or execution out of jurisdiction unless the Court is satisfied that there are special grounds for allowing such service or execution, which grounds shall be recorded before the summons or warrant is so indorsed.
