PART IV - DIVORCE
Section 37. Divorce under taliq.
(1) A married woman may, if entitled to a divorce in pursuance of the terms of a taliq made upon marriage, apply to the Court to declare that such divorce has taken place.
(2) The Court shall examine the application and make enquiry, as to the validity of such a divorce and if satisfied that the divorce is valid in accordance with Hukum Syarak, shall confirm the divorce and record it and proceed to register it.
