Criminal Appeal Procedure

Section 47. Certificate and consequence of judgment.

(1) Whenever a matter is decided on appeal, the Syar'iah High Court shall Certify its judgment or order to the Court appealed from.

(2) Where an appeal is not dismissed, such certificate shall state the grounds on which the appeal was allowed or the decision of the court appealed from was varied.

(3) The Court which receives the said certificate shall thereupon make such orders as are conformable to the judgment or order of the Syar'iah High Court and, if necessary, its records shall be amended in accordance therewith.
