PART IV - DIVORCE
Section 31. Jurisdiction to an order of divorce.
Save as is otherwise expressly provided to the contrary, nothing in this Enactment shall authorise the Court to make an order relating to divorce by allowing a husband to pronounce a talak except-
(a) where the marriage has been registered or deemed to be registered under this Enactment;
(b) where the parties concerned have married in accordance with Hukum Syarak; and
(c) where both parties to the marriage are domiciled or are temporarily resident in the State at the time of making the application.
