Section 213. Omission to produce, etc. a document to a religious officer by person legally bound to produce, etc. such document

Whoever, being legally bound to produce or deliver up any document to any religious officer as such, intentionally omits so to produce or deliver up the document shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both; or if the document is to be produced or delivered up to a Court, to a fine not exceeding two thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or to both.
