PART II - THE MAJLIS AGAMA ISLAM NEGERI PULAU PINANG

Section 20. Minutes

(1) The Secretary shall keep minutes of all meetings of the MajIis and at every meeting, the minutes of the previous meeting shall be confirmed subject to any amendment that may be required.

(2) Unless otherwise directed by the Majlis in any particular case, the minutes shall be in a summarized form and shall contain only decisions and matters of importance.

(3) As soon as possible after every meeting of the MajIis, a copy of the draft minutes shall be sent to the Yang di - Pertuan Agong. If on confirmation such draft minutes are amended, the Yang di - Pertuan Agong shall forthwith be informed of the amendments made:

Provided that no decision referred in any of the minutes shall be acted upon until the Yang di - Pertuan Agong has in writing signified his assent.
