PART III - OFFENCES RELATING TO THE SANCTITY OF THE RELIGION OF ISLAM AND ITS INSTITUTION
Section 21. Destroying or defiling mosque, surau, etc.
Any person who destroys, damages or defiles any mosque or surau or other Islamic place of worship or any of its equipment with the intention of thereby insulting, deriding or degrading the religion of Islam commits an offence and shall, on conviction,be liable to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to whipping not exceeding six strokes or to any combination thereof.
