Section 161. Judgment of Syariah Appeal Court.

(1) On the termination of the hearing of any appeal the Syariah Appeal Court shall, either at once or on some future day which shall either then be appointed for the purpose or of which notice shall subsequently be given to the parties, deliver judgment in open Court.

(2) In any appeal the Syariah Appeal Court shall ordinarily give only one judgment which may be pronounced by the chairman or by such other member of the Syariah Appeal Court as the chairman may direct:

Provided that seperate judgments shall be delivered if the chairman so determines.

(3) The judgment of any member of the Syariah Appeal Court who is absent may be read by any other member.
