ENACTMENT NO. 3 OF 1987 ISLAMIC FAMILY LAW ENACTMENT 1987
PART I - PRELIMINARY
Section 1. Short title and commencement.
This Enactment may be cited as the Islamic Family Law Enactment 1987 and shall come into force on such date as His Royal Highness the Sultan may by notification in the Gazetteappoint:
Provided that His Royal Highness the Sultan may from time to time appoint different dates by notification in the Gazette for the coming into force of different Parts or provisions of the Enactment.
