Section 181. Employemnt of peguam syarie.
With the permission of the Chief Syariah Prosecutor, a peguam syarie may be employed on to conduct any criminal prosecution, or to appear in any criminal appeal on behalf of the Chief Syariah Prosecutor. Such peguam syarie shall be paid out of the public funds such remuneration as may be allowed by the State Authority and when conducting such prosecution or appeal, the peguam syarie shall be deemed to be a "public servant".
