Section 119. Divorce outside without Court and Court's permission.

Any man who divorces his wife by the pronouncement of talaqin any form outside the Court and without the permission of the Court commits an offence and shall on conviction be punished with a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or with imprisonment not exceeding six months or with both such fine and imprisonment.
