SECOND SCHEDULE
(Section 31)
WAKAF MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE

Meeting of the Wakaf Management Committee.

1. (1) The Wakaf Management Committee shall hold its meeting at least four times a year.

(2) The quorum of the Wakaf Management Committee is five members including the chairman of this meeting.

(3) Subject to the other provisions of this Enactment, the Wakaf Management Committee shall determine its own procedure.

Attendance of non-members.

2. The Wakaf Management Committee may invite any person (who is not a member of the Committee) to attend any meeting or deliberation of the Wakaf Management Committee for the purpose of advising it on any matter under discussion but any person so attending shall have no rights to vote in the said meeting.

Disclosure of interest.

3. A member of the Wakaf Management Committee having, directly or indirectly, by himself or his relative or partner, an interest with which the Wakaf Management Committee proposes to make a contract or in any matter under discussion by the Wakaf Management Committee, shall disclose to the Wakaf Management Committee the fact of his interest and the nature thereof, and such disclosure shall be recorded in the minutes of the Wakaf Management Committee and that member shall not take part in the discussion or decision relating to the contract or matter.

The Wakaf Management Committee shall admit report.

4. The Wakaf Management Committee shall, annually, submit to Majlis report on wakaf for the previous year before 30th March of the subsequent year.

Minutes.

5. (1) The Wakaf Management Committee shall cause minutes of all meetings of the committee to be maintained and kept in proper form.

(2) Any minutes made of meetings of the Wakaf Management Committee shall, if duly signed, be receivable in evidence in all legal proceedings, without further proof and every meeting of the
committee in respect of the proceedings of which minutes have been so made shall be deemed to have been duly convened and held and all members at the meeting to have been duly qualified to act.
