Section 49. Selling or giving away child to non-Muslim
(1) Any person who sells, gives away or delivers his child or a child under his care to any person who is not a Muslim commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to whipping not exceeding six strokes or to any combination thereof.
(2) The Court shall make such order as it deems appropriate in respect of the child.
(3) No claim whatsoever shall be made by any party arising out of the order of the Court.
