PART VII - GUARDIANSHIP Guardian of Person and Property
Section 98. Guardian of orphan.
Where the father and the grandfather of a minor have died without appointing a testamentary guardian, any penghulu, police ,officer not below the rank of Sergeant, any person having the custody of the minor, or any person with the powers of a Protector under the Children and Young Persons Act 1947 [Act 323.], may cause the minor to be taken before the Court and the Court may appoint a guardian of the minor's person and property or either of them.
