Section 30. Inheritance certificates.
(1) If in the course of any proceedings relating to the administration or distribution of the estate of a deceased Muslim, any civil court or authority, is under a duty to determine the persons entitled to share in the estate, or the shares to which such persons are respectively entitled, the Majlis may, on the application of any person claiming to be a beneficiary or his representative and on payment by him of the prescribed fee, certify the facts relating to the matter and issue to him an Inheritance Certificate.
(2) The Majlis may appoint any public servant to carru out its functions under subsection (1).
