Section 6. The Majlis shall aid and advise the Duli Yang Maha Mulia Raja Pemerintah

The Majlis shall aid and advise the Duli Yang Maha Mullia Raja Pemerintah in respect of all matters relating to the religion of Islam in the State of Perlis, except matters of Hukum Syarak and those relating to the administration of justice, and in all such matters shall be the chief authority in the State of Perlis after the Duli Yang Maha Mulia Raja Pemerintah, except where otherwise provided in this Enactment.
