MAJLIS AGAMA ISLAM SELANGOR
Section 17. Attendance of non-members at meetings of the Majlis.
(1) If a member who is appointed under paragraph 11(1)(c) or subsection 11(4) is unable to attend a meeting of the Majlis, the member may be represented by any Muslim officer in the same Department or Division as the member at the meeting.
(2) The Chairman may invite any person who is not a member of the Majlis to attend any meeting of the Majlis, if the business before the meeting makes the presence of the person desirable.
(3) A person attending a meeting under subsection (1) or (2) is entitled to participate in the deliberations of the Majlis but is not entitled to vote.
