PART II - OFFENCES
Section 24. Intoxicating liquor or drink
(1) Any person who drinks liquor or any drink which is intoxicating shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable, on conviction, to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to caning not exceeding six strokes or to any two of them.
(2) Any person who makes, sells present, exhibits forsale, keeps or buys any liquor or intoxicating drink shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable, on conviction, to a fine not exceeding three thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both.
