PART VII - COLLECTION AND RECOVERY OF ZAKAT
Section 51. Recovery of zakat by suit.
(1) Zakat due and payable maybe recoverable by the Majlis in a civil proceedings in the Syariah Court as a debt to the Majlis.
(2) The Secretary and every authorised officer shall be deemed to be public servants duly authorised by the Majlis respecting all proceedings under this section.
