Any person who gives, spreads or propagates any fatwa to be followed by the Muslims relating to any issue of Islamic teachings or Hukum Syarak, contrary to any fatwa legally issued by the Mufti under the Administration of Islamic Law (Negeri Sembilan) Enactment 1991 [En. 1/1991] shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or imprisonment to a term not exceeding one year or to both and the said fatwa if in writing, shall be seized and be destroyed in the manner directed by the court and all its publications, selling and distribution thereof shall be prohibited.
