Any person who teaches the Religion of Islam or enumerates the same to any person or a group of person in a public place or otherwise or conducts any ceremony or any acts contrary to Hukum Syarak shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit or imprisonment not exceeding three years or to both and all documents and apparatus relating to the said conviction shall be seized and be destroyed in the manner directed by the Court.
