PART II - OFFENCES
Section 33. Teaching of religion without permission.
(1) No person, save to the member of his own household and in his own house, shall teach, expound or explain or do anything which may be regarded as teaching, expounding or explaining, any matter connected with the Religion of Islam, without the written permission of the President.
(2) Any person contravening the provisions of sub-section (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable, on conviction, to a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both.
