PART II - OFFENCES
Section 34. Expounding of doctrines and performing ceremonies contrary to the Hukum Syarak.
(1) Whoever teaches or expounds to anyone or propagates in any place, any teaching or performs any ceremony or act which is contrary to the Hukum Syarak as practiced in the state of Perlis shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable, on conviction, to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit or to imprisonment, for a term not exceeding three years or to both.
(2) The Court shall order any document or voice recording or any other record which contains any teaching which is the subject of the offence under sub-section (1), to be destroyed or otherwise disposed of as the Court thinks fit.
