Section 101. Omission to produce a document to a public servant by a person legally bound to produce such document.

Any person who being legally bound to produce or deliver up any document to any public servant, as such, intentionally fails so to produce or deliver up the same, shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding five hundred ringgit to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three months or to both; or, if the document is to be produced or delivered up to a Court, shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both.

ILLUSTRATION

A., being legally bound to produce a document before a Court, intentionally fails to produce the same. A. has committed the offence defined in this section.
