Any person who entices or takes away or persuades a married woman or an anak dara to run away from her matrimonial home or the custody of her parents or guardian shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or to both and the Court may order the said wife or anak dara to return to her husband or parents or guardian.
