Any person who declares himself to be a non-Muslim so as to avoid himself from any action being taken under this Enactment or any other Enactment in force shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to both.
