ISLAMIC FAMILY LAW (STATE OF SELANGOR) ENACTMENT 2003



Section 137. Savings and transitional


(1) All rules, proclamations, orders, notifications, notices, forms, authorization letters, and appointments issued or made under or by virtue of any written law repealed by virtue of this Enactment shall remain in force, in so far as they are not inconsistent with this Enactment, until revoked or replaced by regulations, rules, proclamations, orders, notifications, notices, forms, authorization letters or appointments issued or made under this Enactment.

(2) On the coming into force of this Enactment, all the powers of the Courts constituted under the previous Enactment shall be taken over or exercised by the Courts constituted under this Enactment and any reference in any written law or otherwise to the Courts constituted under the previous Enactment shall be deemed to be a reference to the Courts constituted under this Enactment.
