PART IX - OFFENCES AND PUNISHMENTS
Section 69. Zakat etc., payable notwithstanding institution of proceedings.
The institution of proceedings or the imposition of penalty or special penalty, of a fine or a term of imprisonment under this Enactment shall not relieve any person from liability for the payment of any zakat (or any penalty deemed under any other Part herein as zakat payable under this Enactment) or any debt or any amount of money for which he is or may be liable or from liability to make any return which he is required by this Enactment to make.
