ENACTMENT NO. 4 OF 2004 ADMINISTRATION OF THE RELIGION OF ISLAM (PERAK) ENACTMENT 2004
PART IV - SYARIAH COURTS
Section 44. Establishment of Syariah Courts.
(1) Duli Yang Maha Mulia Sultan, after consulting the Majli, may by notification in the Gazette constitute Syariah Subordinate Courts for the State of Perak Darul Ridzuan at such places as He considers fit.
(2) Duli Yang Maha Mulia Sultan, after consulting the Majlis, may by notification in the Gazette constitute a Syariah High Court for the State of Perak Darul Ridzuan.
(3) Duli Yang Maha Mulia Sultan, after consulting the Majlis, may be notification in the Gazette constitute a Syariah Court of Appeal for the State of Perak Darul Ridzuan.
(4) Duli Yang Maha Mulia Sultan, after consulting the Chief Syariah Judge, may prescribe in writing a code of ethics which must be observed by all Syariah Judges and Syariah Appeal Court Judges.
