PART IX - PENALTIES
Section 132. Cohabitation without lawful ruju‘
(1) Any man who, having lawfully divorced his wife, resumes cohabitation with her without having pronounced a lawful ruju‘ commits an offence and may be punished with a fine not exceeding five hundred ringgit or with imprisonment not exceeding three months.
(2) If his wife was not at the time of resumption of cohabitation aware of the occurrence of the divorce, the man commits an offence and may be punished with a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or with imprisonment not exceeding six months.
(3) Any woman who abets an offence under subsection (1) commits an offence and may be punished with a fine not exceeding five hundred ringgit or with imprisonment not exceeding three months.
