PART IX - GENERAL
Section 118. Change of name of Courts of Kadi.
(1) On the coming into force of this Enactment, the Court of Kadi shall be known as the Syariah Subordinate Court and shall be deemed to be a Syariah Subordinate Court constituted under section 42 of this Enactment.
(2) The persons who immediately before the coming into force of this Enactment are Kadis shall, subject to this Enactment, be deemed to be Syariah Subordinate Court Judges and shall have the powers under the jurisdiction of such Courts until the appointment of the Syariah Subordinate Court Judges under this Enactment.
