Section 34. Protection of certain officers.
For the purposes of this Enactment and the Syariah Criminal Procedure Enactment 1988 Members of the Majlis, the Fatwa Committee, officers or workers of the Majlis, officers of the Kadi's Court and Court of Appeal, pegawai Masjid, the kariah committees of any mosque, guru agama bertauliah and penghulu shall be deemed to be public servants as defined by the Penal Code.
