PART V - DISSOLUTION OF MARRIAGE
Section 50. Divorce under ta’liq or stipulation
(1) A manied woman may, if entitled to a divorce in pursuance of the terms of a ta'liq certificate made upon a marriage apply to the Court to declare that such divorce has taken place.
(2) The Court shall examine the application and make an inquiry into the validity of the divorce and shall, if satisfied that the divorce is valid according to Hukum Syarak, confirm andrecord the divorce and send one certified copy of the record to the appropriate Registrar and to the Chief Registrar for registration.
