PART IX - OFFENCES

Section 160. Erection of mosques not in accordance with this Enactment.

(1) Whoever contravenes section 126 shall be guilty of an offence.

(2) No Friday prayers shall be held in any place in the State unless prior written permission has been granted by Majlis for such place to be used.

(3) Whoever contravenes subsections (1) and (2) shall be liable to be fined not exceeding three thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both.
