PART II - OFFENCES
Section 26. Consuming and selling food in the month of Ramadan.
(1) Any person who shall during the hours of daylight in the month of Ramadan sell any food, drink or tobacco to a person professing the Muslim Religion for immediate consumption; or
(2) Any person who being akil baligh under the Muslim Law to fast during the hours of daylight in the month of Ramadan shall openly or in any public place, consume any food, drink or tobacco; shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable, on conviction, to a fine not exceeding five hundred ringgit or imprisonment for a term not exceeding three months and for a second or subsequent offence to a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both.
