PART V - MAINTENANCE
Section 93. Maintenance of children.
(1) A child below the age of fifteen years may, by application in the Court of a Kadi to be made either personally or through a representative, obtain an order against his lawful father or any other person liable in accordance with Hukum Syara' to support him for payment from time to time in respect of his maintenance according to Hukum Syara'.
(2) A child between the age of 15 years and 18 years may apply to the Court of a Kadi personally or through his representative for an order against his lawful father or any person liable to support him according to Hukum Syara' for his educational expenses
from time to time.
(3) If a Court finds that a man fails to maintain his children either for the whole period from the date of the application for maintenance or any part of it, the Court may order him to make payment for the maintenance of the children to his former wife or to any other person if that other person has been responsible for the child's maintenance for that period.
