Section 96. Illegitimate children.
If any person neglects or refuses to maintain an illegitimate child of his which is unable to maintain itself, the Court of a Kadi, upon due proof thereof may issue an order for the maintenance of the child by Baitul-Mal to commence from an appinted date to the
date of the child's attaining the age of majority.
